Hermes Kanban is a persistent task board built directly into Hermes for organizing work between you and your agents. Tasks move through Triage → Todo → Ready → In Progress → Blocked → Done, giving you a visual way to see what your agents are working on and where they need help.

Drop a rough idea into Triage and Hermes can automatically break it into smaller tasks, determine dependencies, and assign those tasks to the appropriate specialized agents. Workers can leave comments, report progress, attach results, block tasks when they need human input, and hand work between one another.

Why use it? Kanban is ideal for work that is too large for a single conversation: building software, conducting research, running business processes, or coordinating several specialized agents. Unlike temporary subagents, the board is persistent—tasks and their history survive individual agent sessions and restarts.
